Hello,

it would be usefull to include the uml architecture to simulate Clusters on one Maschine.

UML ist part of newer 2.6.x Kernels.

OpenSSI has in the past worked with UML, I have no idea how much work
would be needed to get it going again.

OpenSSI can also work with Xen, I also have no idea how hard that is to
set up.

OpenSSI works as-is with kvm (with appropriate hardware) and qemu.  This
is what I recommend as a way of trying out "thrown away" clusters and
debugging.
