rfork() and copy on write

Hi,

I just want to understand the following. In a normal call to fork(), a 
child process gets started and gets a copy of the parents memory space. 
Does rfork work in an analogous manner? So if the parent process is 
started on node 1 for example and then rforks off a series of children 
onto nodes 2 and 3 is the memory shared on a copy on write basis?
