Thanks to the hard work of OpenSSI user Hugo Segura, there is now an OpenSSI VMWare image available for giving OpenSSI a test run. The image contains three nodes, two of them initnodes with DRBD failover, and one regular node. A cluster CVIP is also set up. Give the image a spin with the gratis VMWare Player, and send any comments to this list. == Download URL: http://deb.openssi.org/contrib/openssi-vmware-3node.zip MD5: 7e81f3589b39e0105c698a63f17e8d1b == A zip is provided since it's easier to find an unzip utility on Linux than it is to find a tarball utility on Windows; if people are having problems with this, shoot me an e-mail and I'll make available a tarball version, as well. VERY IMPORTANT: this image is NOT official, or released by the OpenSSI project. It is a third party contribution. Like for OpenSSI proper, the project accepts no responsibility or liability, implied or expressed, for any and all problems that might arise from the use of this image, and makes no guarantee whatsoever about this software, not even about its usefulness or fitness of purpose.
