Waste of time Hugo.

Things like SSI are for toying with 100mbit interconnects at home and with latencies that belong to that.

Not for highend networks that require special kernels with drivers patching the entire kernel
to run the network cards at a fast latency.

if you want some shared memory programming at a cluster without mpi problems, try quadrics and use
some infiniband cables and switches :)

it has a shmem library.

that's closest you can get to shared memory programming at fast latency.
