Hi!
I've setup successfully a running initnode on Debian Linux but I have
problems getting some nodes connected to cluster.
Using etherboot to bootup other nodes they find DHCP server, get some
IP address, and load "combined" image (?) from initnode's directory
/tftpboot. Booting Kernel works so far but boot process stops at this
line:
Checking if this processor honours the WP bit even in supervisor mode... OK.
Long time after (perhaps 10 minutes) kernel panics ("Fatal exception
in interrupt").
To solve this problem I need to know, which steps are missing after
booting up node's kernel - does it start a minimal Linux system?
Node's kernel command line has an option "root = /dev/nfs". Looks curious.
Does this mean, it tries to load the basic system from initnode over NFS?
But I've read, NFS isn't currently supported by OpenSSI 2.6 kernel!?
So what to do?
Any suggestions?
regards
