Dear Karl:

Thank you for your reply, first of all.

I installed CentOS 4.4 and when I choose to load the regular non-SSI kernel
(CentOS 4.4 with kernel 2.6.9), everything is fine. When I choose to boot
SSI-kerenel, that's when I have problems.

I've had similar problems with a machine with a e100 NIC driver, but once I
compiled and installed newer NIC driver module and created a new SSI-kernel
image, I could load the SSI-kernel with no problems.

"lspci" on that machine (with the non-SSI kernel loaded) gave me the
followings.

Any ideas?
