Drbd & Disks question

I have a director server running scsi drives & pxe booted nodes, 
everything runs fine. I want to put a redundant server(director 2) with 
ide harddrivers and run Drdb on debian as your wiki. Is there a problem 
with ide & scsi drives combined? because saw on the configurations and 
wiki's that the same mount point and device unit are used.
