Hi,

On sarge my sources.list is:

deb http://ftp.fi.debian.org/debian/ sarge main
deb-src http://ftp.fi.debian.org/debian/ sarge main

deb http://security.debian.org/ sarge/updates main contrib

deb http://www.atlantech.com/~john/openssi-debian-1.9.3 ./
deb-src http://www.atlantech.com/~john/openssi-debian-1.9.3 ./

And preferences:
Package: *
Pin: origin www.atlantech.com
Pin-Priority: 1001

I think the easiest would be to try installing it on sarge.
