Simplest config:

                   +----eth0-- Node 1 --eth1-----+
cluster            |                             |
interconnect ------+----eth0-- Node 2 --eth1-----+----- Outside world
switch             |                             |      switch
                   +----eth0-- Node 3 --eth1-----+
