What does:
grep symlink /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst
show?
(For me it's:
# grep symlink /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst
# create a default symlink if the directory exists and is empty
create_rules_symlink() {
# make symlinks to the sockets and pipes on the old /dev
create_rules_symlink
