Re: LinuxSSI x86_64 bit

Hello Scott,

I just started doing a new re-install of the OpenSSI on the 64-bit amd main node that I have here and am at the point in the documentation

to get the module for the cluster-interconnect nic  which will be eth1 for me as the public IP is on eth0 where the users will connect to the cluster (number 10) where I do:

ls -ld /sys/class/net/eth1/device/driver/module

when I do this I get back:

../../../../module/e1000

>From that point, I added 

e1000

to the /etc/mkinitrd/modules file.

And tried to then run "mkinitrd"

This is where I have a small problem in that I do not know what options and filename to specify on the command line for the mkinitrd.

Can you please advise me on this?
