Recompile of OpenSSI to take advantage of FUSE

It seems that the requirement will be for me to re-compile the kernel and allow for the fuse module to be loaded.

With this in mind, where can I get the sources of the latest OpenSSI kernel so that I can give it a shot although I am not sure how hard it will be to compile the kernel since it seems that there are a lot of patches and modifications to make OpenSSI 2.6.14-ssi-686-smp.

Perhaps if you already have a system set up to compile the OpenSSI 2.6.14-ssi-686-smp then you could set this option and do a re-compile for me after which I will try to do an OpenSSI kernel upgrade to the new "test" kernel and modules.

Absolutely right about that. I would love to go over to fiber optics one day.

I think that it is all doable and should be a great value added feature for OpenSSI to add in FUSE since it will allow for stackable filesystems of the users choice and needs.
