Had a minor epiphany and realized the 700 is essentially an earlier 1200,= =20 same except with fewer voltage ranges, even have same quirk for channel=20 order Slapped the ids for the 700 into the 1200 driver source and limited the=20 ranges, looks OK. Now I just need to remember how to ifdef the code so they can coexist in=20 the driver, haven't touched any code other that fixing typos etc in 30=20 years, wasn't any good at it then, i'm a hardware guy. It works fine in the expresscard adapter I have in my X201T.
