Hi, I just released csa-2.2.0-2 and linux-2.6.9 csa-related kernel patches (acct_eop, acct_io, acct_mm, & csa_module) needed for csa-2.2.0-2 release. They can be download from: ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/csa/download Please note that this kernel patch set and csa-2.2.0-2 requires linux-2.6.9-job.patch and linux-2.6.9-pagg.patch-2, which you can download from this site: ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/pagg/download This release contains bug fixes to CSA rpm: - Fixed compilation issue with gcc 3.3.3 - CSA assumes existence of 'adm' user/group account - csacom & csacms usage otuput missing carriage return - csarecy misses a carriage return on certain condition - csacom -W segfaults after printing one bad time I also released a newer version of READEME file in the CSA 'dowload' folder. Please read it. It included a compatibility table so that you can find easily what kernel patches (pagg, job, and csa) and what versions of job and csa rpms you may use if your kernel is running a particular version of 2.4.x or 2.6.x linux. The README file also contains information of the csa rpm versions included in each of SGI's ProPack releases. One good news is that the kernel patches needed to collect accounting data in the I/O and memory area were finally accepted into Andrew Morton's tree. We hope to see the feature finally merged into Linus tree soon! Merry Chrismas and Happy New Year to everybody!!! Signed-off-by: Jay Lan <[email protected]> :)
