Note libbz2.la isn't mentioned anywhere in the above line, even though=20
=2Dlbz2 is.

This is one of the biggest problems one faces when using libtool: it=20
writes the full dependencies' .la paths to the .la file it creates. The=20
result is there is now a dependency between packages that wouldn't be=20
there if it weren't for libtool, and packagers don't account for that. In=20
other words, there is one /usr/lib/*.la file that mentions the path=20
"/usr/lib/libbz2.la".

=46ind it and erase it.

The other alternative is to install libbz2.la along with libbz2.so.
