Re: Gnuradio backport

I’m looking forward the gnuradio backport release, so I found out there is a problem with the last version in testing:

Version 3.10.4.0-4 of gnuradio is marked for autoremoval from testing on Sat 31 Dec 2022. It depends (transitively) on symfony , affected by #1024308 . You should try to prevent the removal by fixing these RC bugs.

Could this be a problem for the backport release ASAP?

I’ve just checked packages on Ubuntu 22.04 (it already have gnuradio 3.10) and libosmosdr0 and libosmosdr-dev are on version 0.1.8, the same in Ubuntu testing.

The version of libosmosdr in testing and unstable is 0.1.8. It would be greet to have version 0.2 ((maybe 0.2.3) in backport for good compatibility with gr-osmosdr.

Keep checking the version in unstable/testing is OK.

There is about to be some libosmo* updates that might require changes.

But, gnuradio 3.10 should be stable a while, and is about ready for

backports.
