Update: Debian bookworm with the latest backports kernel (6.5.3-1~bpo12+1) not shutting down

Good news,
updating to the latest kernel version from bookworm-backports seems to resolve the issue on my 
Dell XPS: linux-image-amd64 (6.5.10-1~bpo12+1)

I confirm that the only version causing problems is the one indicated in the initial email.
