I notice that a new backport of pypdf has been uploaded:

https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/pypdf_3.4.1-1~bpo11%2B1.html

This version has an open (minor) security issue that is fixed in the version in 
bookworm-proposed-updates for the next point release.  I would recommend 
backporting that one instead.
