Hi,

As a member of the Debian LEGO Team, I maintain the nxt-firmware which
can be used with the LEGO Mindstorms NXT robotic system. It is based on
the original firmware, but includes many fixes, new features, and makes
it easy to make changes as it allows building with GCC instead of IAR
proprietary toolchain.

The version included in bookworm has a problem which makes it interpret
user program differently than the original firmware. This has been
reported by a Debian user, Andreas Weber, in bug #1065665.

I believe this backport is useful as this problem makes the package
unusable with OpenRoberta Lab which triggers it.

I would like to thanks Soren Stoutner who sponsored this upload. He is
really a great mentor, with kind and useful reviews. Thank you!

Nicolas.
