New emacs 30.1 bpo12+1 package incompatible several modes

Hi,

I just upgraded to the newer emacs 30.1 package in backports and it's not
installable without first removing elpa-php-mode and elpa-helm (which
removes emacs-goodies-el).

These modes/extensions worked well in the previous 29.x versions.
The new backport seems a little hasty... and now my system emacs is broken.
I see that snapshots.debian.org is no longer archiving backports (for many
years now). So I can't conceivably roll back.

Is there any plan to backport some of these modes to make them work with
newer emacs?
