I'm an interested observer of the project, not using or contributing to it.

Marcan, Lina, and Alyssa have left the project. Afaik Alyssa is working for
a GPU vendor now.

Sven Peter has stepped up as maintainer and is regularly upstreaming to the
Linux kernel; current focus is on the USB drivers. He'll give a talk this
month at 39c3.
Afaik Janne Grunau is now maintaining the graphics stack, but I don't know
how they split their work and if there are other maintainers.
They also started porting some of the critical parts of the m1n1 bootloader
to Rust.
