Hello,

the package jameica in trixie-backports seems to be broken.
Package: jameica (2.12.0+dfsg-1~bpo13+1)

You can run it, but trying to use the Hibiscus plugin to do
synchronization results in an error.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jakarta/xml/bind/JAXB

According to the author the are JAR-files from the Jakarta-projekt
missing in the debian trixie-backports packaging:
https://homebanking-hilfe.de/forum/topic.php?t=27915

The link leads to a German forum and the trixie-backports are not
mentioned, only "Debian Paketquellen", but I got the same error when
trying to use it.

The update would be important as the jameica framework update is
necessary to use the current version of the Hibiscus home banking
plugin. Only the current version of Hibiscus is able to do banking
transactions, in Germany the name of the account holder needs to be
verified since November 2025, so every banking software needs the update.

Please repair jameica package in trixie-backports or if you don't,
please at least remove the broken version.

Or is another action possible to repair the installation?

Regards Timm
