Re: Broken package jameica in trixie-backports

thank you very much! The right command was
apt install hibiscus/trixie-backports jameica/trixie-backports

Then I got a hint that there are two Hibiscus plugin installations, 
therefore I needed to remove the hibiscus plugin from my personal 
.jameica folder and it seems to work fine now.

As jameica is a framework which usually manages its plugins itself it 
would seem plausible to me to integrate all libraries that are needed 
for some jameica plugin into jameica package itself. I didn't even know 
that the possibility exists that a jameica plugin could be provided by 
package management. I didn't look for Hibiscus in backports as it made 
no sense to me.

If other users are also migrating their .jameica-folder including 
plugins from previous computers as written in the FAQ of jameica (in my 
case additionally switching from Ubuntu to Debian, but that doesn't 
matter), this could happen to others also.

Also the manual how to install Hibiscus tells that you should install 
jameica and using jameica you should install Hibiscus.

This (migrate as well as fresh install, both according to official 
documentation) completely fails in this case, and you don't even see an 
error, you just (hopefully) recognize that synchronization never 
finishes after you installed and configured everything correctly. In my 
opinion it is also bad that jameica does not present such errors to the 
user, you have to look into the jameica.log file.

If the libraries needed for Hibiscus (not Hibiscus itself) were added to 
the jameica package in debian trixie backports, it would not happen. 
There would be no need to provide a Hibiscus package by backports, this 
could be installed and managed by jameica, working out of the box.

Currently I'm ok with the situation, it runs for me, but helpful for 
others might be a change to avoid this trap.
