Hi, The runit-services package has just been uploaded to BACKPORTS-NEW and I'd like to address the notability criterion. For users who made 'runit' their init system, this package provides runit service integration for the majority of packages that don't already include it. The use case for the backport is users who want stable software but, having chosen an alternative init system, are keen to pull in the new service directories that are being developed. But the main benefit I anticipate is to harvest contributed service definitions from stable users; at present the feedback loop is too long. The package maintainer regularly accepts contributions into unstable on salsa. While the popcon for this package is 28, in downstream derivative Devuan, the (also opt-in) popcon has a count of 393, so there should be a decent constituency to benefit from this backport. Thanks, Andrew
