Backport request: libmirage11 (3.3.2) for Debian Stable

I would like to request a backport of the package 'libmirage11' to the 
current Debian Stable release.

Specifically, I am looking to get version 3.3.2 (or newer) which 
introduces native CHD support.

My use case:
I rely on cdemu to mount my disc images. Currently, I have a large 
collection of physical PC games (199x-201x) of BIN/CUE and ISO images 
converted to the CHD format to save disk space. Having version 3.3.2 
backported will allow me to mount these CHD files directly with cdemu on 
my stable system without having to manually compile the libraries or 
risk breaking system dependencies.

Could a maintainer please consider backporting this package?
