Re: removing debian-consultants list

Hi,

I would like this list to continue too.
I have been thinking about some sort of cooperation between
debian consultants. We could offer some sort of global support coverage
to clients - but I am not quite sure about the details yet. Maybe anyone
got suggestions? We (Lemon Computing ltd) have clients in and around
London, some of these clients have branches in UK and Europe, it kind of
makes sense to have a network of debians who look after those branches.
But, as I say, I haven't really thought this through enough just yet ;)


Regarding the spam, there is a funny side to it. One of my colleagues
received the silly nigeria spam today. His reply makes some fun reading

villagers below. Showing no mercy, the Lemonites attacked schools,
hospitals, shops and banks.

It was during this devastating attack that our bank was raised to the
ground. All data backups were destroyed. Our livelihood seemingly erased
in
a blink of an eye.
As a company, we only managed to survive by peeling all the white paint
of
the walls of our cramped offices, grinding the paint flecks up, and
selling
them to eager survivors as tooth-whitening powder.
This endeavour was enough to see the company through the post
plage/Lemonite
depression era, but we still urgently require funds to redecorate our
office
(we need curtains too).

To this end, I implore you to send us any monies you see fit to spare
once
your dealings have reached fruition. I ask this of you only because as a
fellow sponger and spammer, you understand the need to bug people with
unsolicited mail in order to spout some incoherent bullshit to someone
you've never met, in the hope of obtaining personal financial
information.

If you can send something, please accompany the monies with a couple of
crates of Krug and any cigars you may have floating around.

totally strange country without parents, relatives or any body to care

me at my tender age.

Before my mother died, she told me that my father deposited some money
which
he made from diamond sales and contracts at this Security company here
in
Ivory Coast and that I should pray and find a trustworthy foreign 
business
partner who would help me to transfer and invest this money in
profitable
business venture overseas. She told me to do this quickly so that I can
leave Ivory Coast with my cousin brother-Arthur who is here in the camp
with
me and, then settle down abroad. She gave me all the relevant documents
to
prove the deposit and then told me that my father used my name as the
only
daughter to deposit the money in the security company. She told me that
this
is the reason why we came to Ivory Coast. My mother died afterwards. May
her
spirit rest in perfect peace.

I have gone to the security company to make inquires about this money
and I
spoke with the director in charge who assured me that  everything is ok
and
promised to help me transfer this money to my  foreign partners bank
account
as soon as I provide my partners foreign bank account for them. However,
the
director is very concerned because of my age, I am 19 years and as such
promised to help me and he would like to speak with my partner to ensure
that this money is invested wisely in only profitable business because
of
his personal interest and sympathy for me.
