And meanwhile lkml whines if you don't CC people.  It's a bit of a pain
to remember not to just automatically hit group reply when you are used
to it on many lists.

Fortunately most people seem perfectly capable of operating the delete
key and like the fact that they don't accidentally not get a message.
Many mail clients make it trivial to notice and deal with duplicate
messages too.

I guess I could just stop dealing with debian mailing lists in general.
It wouldn't be any loss on my part.

So who does one lobby at to change the debian mailing list policy to be
"Don't CC people if explicitly requested, but otherwise do"?  

If I see a signature line requesting not to be CC'd I almost always
manage to not CC.
