The Debian Installer team[1] is pleased to announce the third and likely
final release candidate of the installer for Debian 13 "Trixie".


Improvements in this release
============================

 * choose-mirror:
    - Update Mirrors.masterlist.
 * debian-cd:
    - Include linux-image-powerpc64le-64k on ppc64el images.
    - Exclude more udebs, saving some space on images.
 * debian-installer:
    - Bump Linux kernel ABI to 6.12.38+deb13.
    - Improve depthcharge images.
 * hw-detect:
    - Avoid systematically copying firmware files that are embedded in
      the installer's initramfs (#1106005).


Localization status
===================

 * 78 languages are supported in this release.
 * Full translation for 32 of them.


Known bugs in this release
==========================

 * There seems to be no known major bug as of yet.

We need your help to find bugs and further improve the installer, so
please try it. Installation images, and everything else you will need
