Hi, OK, I disabled the GUI with success. when I rebooted, however, espeakup should have come talking, but it didn't. I'm sure it was active, because before rebooting, I checked with systemctl is-active espeakup. In any case, I issued a series of commands without speech: I entered my regular user and password, then entered su followed by my password, then systemctl restart espeakup, and it finally talked. I was then able to stop it and start fenrir. Any hint on how to make espeakup talks since boot, so I don't need to restart it like above? Thanks, Cleverson
