Newer Versions of daisy-player-and-ebook-speaker?

Hi Samuel-and-All: This morning Debian SID received newer versions of those 
listed in the subject. When I saw these, I had hope that they would include 
NLS/BARD support, but I don't think so. How will we know when that support is 
available? Will NLS push a newer version of these applications? Ideally for 
myself, playing books in mpv would be an easiest way, as I could just hit a 
capitol+Q to save my place. Yes, I know other players will also do that. I did 
look over the change logs for both, seemingly only bug fixes. Thanks so much in
