Registration and Call for Proposals (CfP) for MiniDebConf Campinas 2026
(Brazil) are now open!

This will be the first edition in the state of S=C3=A3o Paulo!

MiniDebConf will take place between April 23rd and 25th in the Campinas Sta=
te
University (Unicamp). On the 25th, we will share the event with the Latin
American Free Software Install Fest (FLISoL) for a Saturday full of activit=
ies.

MiniDebConf will be preceded by a MiniDebCamp taking place between April 19=
th
and 22nd for the first time.

MiniDebConf is an event open to everyone, regardless of their level of
knowledge about Debian. The most important thing is to bring the community
together to celebrate one of the largest Free Software projects in the worl=
d,
so we want to welcome everyone from inexperienced users just starting out w=
ith
Debian to official project developers. In other words, everyone is welcome!

As with the Belo Horizonte edition in 2024 and the Macei=C3=B3 edition in 2=
025, in
the Campinas 2026 edition, we are offering bursaries [2] for food,
accommodation and travel to enable people from other cities who contribute =
to
the Debian Project to come. Unofficial contributors, DMs and DDs can apply =
for
bursaries using the application form.

Financial resources are quite limited, but we will try to fulfill as many
requests as possible.

Registration (without bursaries) can be done until the date of the event,
but we have a deadline for requesting bursaries for food, accommodation and
travel, so please pay attention to the deadline which is February 20th.

account (preferably using Salsa) and access your profile. There you will see
the "Register" button [4].
