Thank you for the suggestion for trying a CD / DVD read only installation media. Unfortunately I don't have one at hand, and there are none in the stores here. The only option seems to be to order one online, which will take a few days to ship. When I get the disks, I'll test using the installer with them. Thanks for the help! Have a great day; Ram
