I agree with you in that keeping the logs and ISOs in sync makes sense.

Sure. But I think that when they are pointed at from
https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/,
not providing the last successful build (even without any warranty
that it fully works, as you very well noted above, of course)
simply turns all that into a 404...
Anyways, just my opinion.

What about keeping two folders?
* one with the last successful build, and
* another one with the last build (no matter whether it is successful or not)
* if the last build is successful, you could even use symlinks to save
up space...
