Hello list,

I've tested with the bookworm 12.10 live images in openQA.

Here are the timings of installing the live image with Calamares in
openQA, for the scenario that no network device is present.

https://openqa.debian.net/tests/overview?arch=&flavor=&machine=uefi_secure&test=&modules=live_install_calamares&module_re=&group_glob=&not_group_glob=&comment=&distri=debian-live&version=bookworm&build=20250316o&groupid=19#

Cinnamon: 13m25s
GNOME: 16m59s
KDE: 12m49s
LXDE: 15m02s
LXQt: 15m07s
MATE: 13m07s
XFCE: 17m27s

Note that the actual duration depends a bit on the load of openQA
worker, but in general the installation with Calamares does not have a
10 minutes delay.

I think this issue could be closed, or should another scenario be tested?

With kind regards,
Roland Clobus
