Where is the technical > disagreement that led you to escalate to the TC? > > Christoph Hello Christoph, We discussed it in multiple places: - The PR in the Salsa repo: https://salsa.debian.org/sudo-team/sudo/-/merge_requests/24 - The PR I opened for upstream: https://github.com/sudo-project/sudo/pull/468#issuecomment-3244198193 - The LKML: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/ He's asked me three times to contact the technical comittee (in the LKML and in the PR, plus another via private email), and directly said that "The change [...] will not happen in Debian unless the technical committee overrides my decision", so I just did as he asked me. Sorry if there were any other procedure to be followed, because I am not familiar with this process. Greetings, Marcos
