Thanks for your interest.

You point out some obvious shortcomings in the current FAQ; any patches fixes
are very much appreciated.  Ideally you offer them in _small_ chunks.  Either
on this list, or as MR's on Salsa.  Or just text suggestions in email here.
Any format goes, basically, afaic.

I did not notice a registration request on Salsa from you.  Are you talking
about registering as a salsa user, of about getting some access for your salsa
useraccount to the debian-doc space on salsa?  In the first case, I can not
really help and you'll likely have to wait for the salsa admins.
