Package: dpkg Version: 1.23.3 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, While reviewing dpkg source code for translation purposes, I found a typo in the English message string in src/unpack.c. The message currently reads: old version of package has overly-long meatada file name (starting with '%.*s') The word “meatada” is a typo and should be “metadata”. Correct version should be: old version of package has overly-long metadata file name (starting with '%.*s') This typo appears in the source code and propagates into translation templates. Thanks for maintaining dpkg! Best regards, Andriy
