I would like to affirm that I am using debian stable versions of gnome and
xserver-xorg-input-tslib (0.0.6-5) and when I select System -> Log Out
User... Gnome seems to quit, but I end up with a black screen and a mouse
cursor rather than returning to the GDM3 log in gui. This does not occur
without xserver-xorg-input-tslib installed. I cannot install 0.0.6-6 from
testing/unstable because of dependencies. I tried to build 0.0.6-6 from
source to add to my debian stable system, but that could not be done
either. My touch screen does not require tslib and so I have no use for
xserver-xorg-input-tslib except to test for you. If you want to backport
0.6.6-6 to debian stable, I'll test it for you.
