Enabling fixed point support in gcc

Hi all,

I see that gcc offers fixed point data type but it is disabled by
default on arm.
I think it would be useful to have such support in a toolchain
targeting an embedded device.
AFAIK https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded enables already this support.
