This has nothing to do with Emdebian. If Debian Installer is used, it is Debian udebs and Debian PXE support, Emdebian doesn't come into it and has nothing to add to what Debian provides. More often that not, Emdebian is not installed with Debian Installer but with multistrap, so the whole issue is a non-starter.
