Dear Debian Games Team, A little while ago the upstream ares emulator project completely upended the build system from Makefiles to CMake. Are there any plans to continue maintaining the package with the new build system? Are you looking for volunteers? If it's helpful to anyone, I have forked the Debian Games/ares project and upgraded it to v146 [1]. Here is a summary of the changes: * Updated package standards version to 6.7.2 (no changes were necessary) * Updated d/watch format to version 5 * Most patches have been modified to work with CMake instead of Makefiles * The functionality of disable-md-on-32bit.patch and no-optional-extensions.patch has been moved to d/rules. * Updated Build-Depends to libsdl3-dev, as required by upstream Regards, David James [1] https://salsa.debian.org/Castor216/ares
