Description : FontAwesome free icon webfonts (legacy versions)

Font Awesome is the Internet's icon library and toolkit, used by
millions of designers, developers, and content creators.

This package builds the font in TTF and WOFF2 formats for legacy
versions of the font (versions 5 and 6). The package includes
metadata files but not CSS files or NodeJS packages. The current
version of the font is available in the
 node-forkawesome-fontawesome-* packages.

The webfonts are built in a DFSG-compliant manner from the SVG
sources, and are not bitwise identical to the upstream versions.

The legacy versions are needed for some other packages including
python3-qtawesome. It will be kept in the Debian Font Task Force area
on salsa, and will be low-maintenance as the legacy versions are not
being updated. The current version of the Font Awesome fonts can be
found in node-fortawesome-fontawesome-free. (At the time of writing
this, that package is still on version 6, but I hope to update it to
version 7 in the near future.)
