Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Akhil S Kumar <[email protected]> X-Debbugs-CC: [email protected] Package name: pi-doctor Version: 1.0.0 Upstream Contact: Akhil S Kumar <[email protected]> URL: https://github.com/Halfblood-Prince/pi-doctor License: Apache-2.0 Programming Lang: Rust Description: Read-only diagnostics for Raspberry Pi systems pi-doctor is a read-only command-line diagnostic utility for Raspberry Pi systems. It checks board identity, operating-system and kernel metadata, thermal and throttling state, boot configuration, GPIO conflicts, camera detection, and common Python-environment pitfalls. The tool is intended for interactive troubleshooting and automation. Its human-readable output explains detected issues and suggested next steps, while its versioned JSON output supports scripts and fleet-management tools. This package is useful because Raspberry Pi diagnostics are commonly spread across separate commands and system files. pi-doctor provides a single, non-destructive interface that reports incomplete or unavailable probes explicitly rather than treating them as healthy results. I am the upstream author and intend to maintain the package myself. I am seeking a Debian sponsor for the initial upload.
