Unexplained truncated file in buildd-built package

Hi,

dh-ocaml 3.5 is currently said to introduce a reproducibility regression:

   https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/dh-ocaml

The reproducibility log is surprising...

In the binary package available in the archive, 
/usr/share/doc/dh-ocaml/ocaml_packaging_policy.txt.gz is truncated, I 
don't understand why.

Rebuilding on my machine, the file is not truncated.

I even tried rebuilding in a stable chroot, upgraded to 
https://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20260701T000000Z/ (i.e. the 
time dh-ocaml was built on buildd), the file is not truncated.

Does anyone have an explanation?
