Hi, after Canonical forced dash as default into Debian, in the process breaking the existing mechanism for /bin/sh selection via debconf, in which bash, mksh and dash cooperated before, causing no less than two RC bugs, which got ignored for two consecutive releases then, so I had to remove the debconf way from mksh and document a different way for users to use bin:mksh (/bin/lksh executable) as /bin/sh, which got, again, broken by whatever was done for usrmerge, I’m not very keen on introducing MORE breakage to Debian just to make the life of the commercial company Canonical easier. bye, //mirabilos
