As I mentioned in the debian-vote discussion:
I've been working on this, and recently got some success. There's at
least one cloud/inference provider willing to sponsor Debian for this
with reasonable amounts of resources.
Of course this is on hold, waiting for the GR result. But this could
move quickly afterwards.
