Partly agree.

I agree that automation might be dangerous. 

I disagree that LLM can’t support the DDs/DMs in packaging. A LLM could be used to assist and help DD/DMs like a search engine, but with dedicated knowledge about the packaging howto and similar things (bugs, etc). Feed the LLM with the existing resources Debian has and use it as another tool to make Debian better. 

Like: 
DD: „Hey, AI, I have this packaging problem that I’m stuck with…“
AI: „Oh, hey, have a look at section x.y of the packaging guide and check this bug in that other package that seems to be similar to your issue…“
