Hi,

I am unable to understand what is wanted of this list and further information
would be appreciated.

I will offer notes on one application - 'eartag'[1].

I am using the latest upstream version that is in trixie (0.6.5-2) and it works
well here. This application I regard as essential if you are a user of 'gnome-
music', an application that is quite touchy about detection if a minimum amount
of tag fields are not present. I filed a bug to as for addition of 'eartag' as a
'Recommends' or 'Suggests' in 'gnome-music'[2].

Offered as my personal experiences as to the state of 'eartag'.
