-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have an IPv6 tunnel to Hurricane Electric which works fine, as long as I statically allocate IPv6 addresses on my machines. I use dnsmasq to allocate IPv4 addresses on my network and I'd like to use it for IPv6 allocation as well. The dhcp client always sends a different duid, reading the documentation I put the following in my /etc/network/interfaces auto eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp iface eth0 inet6 dhcp autoconf 0 The duid passed to dnsmasq changes each time I restart the interface. I have IPv6 connectivity on the client as it gets an address, just not the address I want. Do I need a different dhcp client, or have I just missed a configuration step somewhere? Googling hasn't turned up anything - lots of pointers to radvd & so on. - -- Andy Ruddock - ------------ [email protected] (OpenPGP Key ID 0xB0324245) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJRkorNAAoJECqtbbewMkJFKGkQAKhoYF7HvFxcXT+0WLz/0Jk/ 0cMNrkuAet/FdIpv4bD0slR39L5HAqv3kreEood01kUpyhYPB1ztVHgVtL37BPCT Sx/KWmz5Tf3Dv79+fnzUFcQ7CtjVTG64krinCi6SroWSwEsfB4UNsJfdb799XXPz wWCy37W147ID0iCrmKQes+jC34lSRt/ULzTAkBSJOczvHxbuTdA9kXQ9bHFKMY+w D77pf2J3Hylmmnp9BlPhnqEWWR9ycrkqIesno113XSQN2+MQwbaEeTobDyh21uC4 tPVrazXNLL7texBvxj4v7/RJKpyIL5iAMddctBMBqKAcLKWfUwxrxWBjm/X9rmXS c0YAlfhzeuIayLofaZGu199RRJyxGELbVjGKjhxwNpBXBszi4TD63F6YAoRqwXPH kVGPdEVajqb4H6LA9TDUikErqpvdZhDnN+TcvtLPGdONCWwc5a9R4iSVg10+mYsq DBO2//3biiiGf+/xK0q147CbJe1/ALVB3ktqAouPwz4Ye7wTWHZ+Pg30Srbyitg9 0tumfrwkKaF7Iwdo31vClB0Otzls/LWRqktACKotGdFsltPVad7XKGfQXFZtvYKg j7qNXgaUSe13JOUXI5tFViT/1/YuRFf5qL+rBghtbLbq34580eWxZjcZdF9aOLAt jeSWy7l6D5jd+8nTqpyo =FLoz -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
