It's always the question what your goal is. Considering L2 domains: If
it's redundancy there are protocols like CARP and VRRP. If it's load
sharing it might make sense to use multicast, the "routes via DHCPv6"
draft expired in the meantime and would've been useful to e.g. evenly
distribute two routes among the hosts on the same link.

If you're looking at L3 domains, you'd require the cooperation of the
routers anyway.
